As many of you know, I do lots of pet sitting. It is not for the money, although it can be a nice addition to my other income. But LOOK at this sweet face! This is Chester, one of two bassett hounds I was lucky enough to spend time with this past weekend. He followed me around all weekend. everywhere. and every time I looked at him, with his big eyes and his tail waggin', I felt hope. even amidst global warming, school shooters, shrub madness... everybody needs to look into the eyes of a dog, cat, rabbit, duck, rat, whatever... whenever they need a dose of something good. it's easy, it works and it's virtually painless.

Chester
