Hi everybody. If you're looking for something to do on Saturday night, here's an option..
GLEAN is an amazing organization that I'm just becoming affiliated with. Next month I'll be working with them to teach a photography class to kids in the Mission. So excited. They also take teens on expeditions to other countries to research cultures and issues through writing, photography, etc.
Next year they are off to Bhutan, where the King has proclaimed that "gross national happiness is more important than gross national product." So awesome. I'm still deciding whether i will be going (to Bhutan)... but anyhoo... this event is to help raise money for Bhutan as well as their other wonderful programs. It's at CELLspace (2050 Bryant St) from 6 - 9 p.m. and there will be cool music and art.
